These peppers are about the heat of a Serrano, turning lemon yellow when ripe, blushes purple if in direct sunlight. The flavor is slightly citrus; one of my favorite peppers out there. Great for sauces for chicken and fish.

Plants produce a LOT of peppers, so beware of planting too many of these unless you really want a lot of lemon drop peppers.
