The listing, Grandmothers New Pink Apron has ended.

This new apron was made by my grandmother over 50 years ago. It has been in a cedar chest protected from dust, dirt and air all this time. I believe the decorative stitching is called shirring. It has bias tape around the outside edge. The waist is 18" long and each tie is 26 1/2" long. The apron is 22 1/2" wide at it widest point and it is 25" long. It's great to hear you have kept things like that your family made for you. They mean a lot more than store bought items. I have kept items my grandmother made for me when I was a child. It means more to me now that she's not here anymore. I also look for vintage makeup powder compacts, hats and gloves.

I HAVE A HAT that really was my grandmothers. I also have the hat box believe it or not. Maybe I will list them before something happens to them. They have been moved with me dozens of times and survived. The had is purple and has netting if I remember right. I will get them out the next few days so keep watching!!
