This is a brand new, never used, i-pod/i-phone charger. It will actually charge anything with a 3.5 mm plug. It is a wall charger. I ended up ordering 3 of them when I got my new i-pod because I couldn't remember if I ordered one or not. Prongs fold back for safety purposes (see pic. #2).

That is the larger of the 2 holes that you plug the device in to - to either connect to AC adapter (wall charger) which is what this is, or a USB on the other end.
