its not attracted to a magnet ,the chain is but not the cross,its says avon on back,I know it is old,because iam 60 and my aunt had it before i was 13 because she let me wear it to school to get my picture taken.

can you see any markings inside the chain or on the back of the cross? Is it 925 silver? (just trying to help draw attention by asking questions :P)

If Indeed antique, it will nit be stamped 925 it will more than likely be marked

This one is older than that,because I am 60 and I wore it when I was 13,and I graduated in 1970.and my aunt had it a long time before that.
