Description

The listing, Organic fresh apple twigs bunnies, etc... has ended.

Cut and cleaned from my many apple trees, no pesticides, chemicals, pollution and on a private road, my apple twigs are guaranteed to please your rabbit! Good for guinea pigs and chins, too, and even the tiny ones are excellent for mice, rats and other small mammals.
The twigs are not treated with wax, and they are hand selected, cleaned and minimally cured, by me. All SEVEN of my rabbits have enjoyed every piece, immediately! They are so delicious that you can even smell the apple underneath the bark. I will send 3 ounces, which is about 3 to 7 twigs. Specify if you want thicker (like a thumb) or thinner (for rats, etc... like a metal crochet hook) twigs.
I guarantee that your bunnies or bunny will love them.
All my rabbits were once unwanted, abandoned, in shelters, or in horrendous situations. Say hi to Missy, Sadie, Yoshi, Amalie and Didier! HoneyBun, the netherland dwarf, is my profile pic, and my little Blossom is only in videos... Oh, and don't forget little Munchkin, aka QueeQuee!

And the story behind those two: Sadie (black) and Yoshi (used to be called Mattie - guess why...) were at a kill shelter and adopted during their final hour by a loving man who cares for many rabbits. He had them spayed and they went from foster home to foster home, because folks either wanted to adopt Sadie (not an angora) or Yoshi (an agouti angora) for her fiber... It wasn't until I started spinning animal fibers that I decided to get a rabbit. I took both of them, learned all I could and now, though I do spin her hair, I wouldn't care if she was BALD! I love my rabbits. They are much older than the others, and still do binkies when I can get them outside! Yoshi weighs about 9 pounds, my biggest bun.

I had been thinking of listing a variety pack of twigs. I will do that today. That means there are four or five different types of twigs. Only the apple will have "soft" bark. Watch for it. I also make cat toys!!

I just love Listia! The stories, etc. Here is where you find genuine folks! Love your stories, guys!!! I had a cat who liked to chew on plastic bags. I have always liked bunnies but am not sure I can make a pet of one. I see them at the shelter in town.

Rabbits require a HUGE commitment and have very special needs. They're quite innocent but can also be what might be considered aggressive. It would be wonderful if you could adopt one, and there's support online and probably locally for a new rabbit "owner." Spay and neuter, that's the number one thing to do!

I remember doing that with the dwarf bunny I had. Grandpa's rabbits were German Giants (and they were HUGE) you did not want to pick them up LOL They were as heavy as could be! The lady told me his name, but I can't recall it at the moment. I just found out about it yesterday! LOL We won't get him for another week. That's when we have the truck to get all his stuff as well (the hutch, the run for outdoors, all the bedding and the dishes...etc...)

I'm about to adopt a bunny (owner doesn't have enough time for it, so she was looking for a better place for it) I will fan you, so I have the link when the little guy gets here. This is too cool! I grew up with my Grandfather breeding rabbits and am so excited to have one again! The kids are totally excited as well. Been waiting for the right one for years now.. I knew the right bunny would find us :)

Great, great auction!

Thanks, I'll be listing more, soon. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask! Bunnies generally don't like being picked up, but they will enjoy pets or fun at their level. I knew a family who had NIBBLES, and the kids would set out little trails of tiny treats for their bun. Thanks for the compliment, and I'm happy to help the buns. What's the bunny's name?

Agreed! I let the leaves alone this year, as they had a lot of brown spotting. Next season I'll spray with apple cider vinegar, and that should help...

Great auction! Bunnies teeth never stop growing so it's very important that they have things to chew on. Apple branches are delicious to bunnies and the leaves dried are like bunny potato chips. :)

My cat, Dipsy, likes the old fashioned rubber erasers for pencils, and what I call "frou-frou's" which are the little shiny pompons you can buy in a bag or maybe even get on listia!

There were every kind of small animal at the rescue where I used to live. Mainly they had rabbits, but they did take in and many fostered rats. I've been told that the tiny or thin twigs are the best for them, and I hope you're able to get some! Nutritious and delicious!

Well, I will have to say that if your bunny doesn't have malloclusion, your bun will go nuts for these. I've tested them on so many buns and they never fail to be a huge hit! They are not super dry, and the bark is soft enough to strip off. That's really cool about the squirrel, too!
