This board itself is from 1972. The one they sell at toys r us is some cheap knockoff of the old versions, the planchette lights up and it's very poorly made. If you found this one at toys r us in the last 4 years, consider yourself lucky, as the older vintage styles have not been sold (outside of resale) since the late 70s / early 80s.

Yeah my so has this its by parker brothers got it at Toys- R-Us about 3 0r 4 years ago they still sell them.

Oh yeah toys-r-us still sells them for $22.99. I might be wrong on when I got the game for my son, because it look's just like yours. It wasn't that far back for this one. I have been living here for 19 year's and we moved in in the year 1997 so it was way down the road that I bought it. Unless the cover has been the same for a long time that's possible. But they have a new cover now.

Yeah there a little scary that game as they say. Sometimes things happen in the house while your trying to reach someone and we herd some noises and stuff. They say not to use it so I had my son to take it home I didn't want it in the house no more just really creepy. I wouldn't call it a game its a port hole to let something in. I read up on this so called game nope its not for me ty.
