Description

The listing, BNIP Roku 3 Streaming Media Player (4230R) with Voice Search *FREE SHIPPING* has ended.

Hello everyone! Do I ever have a goodie here for you!! About 2 months ago I ordered this Roku from Sears just so we could watch netflix in the bedroom, for $102.00. I'm the QUEEN of procrastination so I never got around to hooking it up, or even opening it for that matter. Last week we ended up getting a new smart tv, so now we have no use for it. It's already paid for so I figured my fellow lisitans would enjoy it!

While the item is BRAND NEW, never used or even tried, my husband felt the need to take the headphones out of here. I wasn't very happy but, it is just the headphones. If it's really an issue, I can buy a pair before shipping.

All the protective plastic, paper, stickers and packaging is all there and fully intact.

Please see the comment section and the last few photos for all the details and terms. Thank you!

I agree 100%, I'm sick of the kids and clueless adults that waste my time with unreasonable bids. Then they get an attitude when I try to explain to them how the system works. If the newbies get disrespectful or continue to waste my time with lowball offers, I just block them. Listia needs to do a better job of educating people when they sign up. No worries about our discussion about new or used, we can agree to disagree on that. I'm bidding either way, and i'm sure it will go high. Also, I have a Roku 4, and the remote is about the same as this one, so any 3.5mm earphone/headphone will work with them. I actually use a couple different ones with mine for when I want a different sound or fit for watching movies / videos etc.

I picked up a pair of samsung earbuds and will be including those. I just didn't get around to updating it yet... I've been answering stupid questions. Lol. I honestly would rather take a credit lose for an item to go to a respectful listian then have ignorant people bidding. I really enjoy listia and love starting an auction at 0 just to see where it goes.

In the 4 years that I have been with Listia it has changed drastically. I had only blocked 1 person. I had won an item and after 3 weeks passed and I had not received it, I sent a message that said "have you had the chance to send this yet?" They did not respond but, left me feedback saying " *uck off b!tch" ! I was so shocked!! I reported it to Listia and they were removed from the site and the feedback removed. My kids look at the site with me and thank goodness they did not see it. There are so many new rude members. I now have 6 blocked, 5 of them have been within the past 2 months. It is starting to look more like EBay with some of the new members too. I joined to have fun and being disabled, live on a fixed income and it was a place where we all helped each other out. People were thoughtful and caring, now we have been flooded with dishonest, rude jerks!
Awesome auction, thanks for sharing :)

Great item, but technically it's really not BNIP if it's been opened and the headphones are not included. Perhaps Like New Unused. I agree about the credits and the ridiculous offers, as this item should sell for no less than 700,000 credits at the current credit to $ ratio. Good Luck!

If you go to the store and look inside a box, then close it... It's still brand new and being sold as brand new. ;)

The lowball GIN offers are really starting to wear on me. Esp when it's coupled with an attitude bc i won't cancel an auction with bids and relist for a joke of a GIN. If they'd take a second to look over how things work they'd know that's not even possible. I just think it's disrespectful to offer blindly and then think that they have some special seniority that puts you above other users. I ran into my first user a couple days ago that claimed he thought this was all cash bidding!!! After i won the item(one of like 6 or so he had up) he said he didn't know it was for credits, so i should go to mercari and buy the item from him...AND THEN he'll refund my credits if i do that!! My a$$!!! How do you not know this is all credits??!??! I'm on here to have fun and I'm just not OK with people behaving this way. I guess i just think we should act like the adults we are....

It's ashamed things have to be so negative all the time. I love listia and have been around since the very beginning... Some of the things I've heard/seen lately, like the holding credits until the auctions been marked as received, sellers allowed to sell fake items, etc, are really crappy. I've been here for years and years and still i miss marking an item as received. That's not fair, at all. The whole thing of not really being able to block someone is bull as well... But i guess we just have to enjoy what's left of it.

Jen51, you must be grandfathered in to some old credit release policy in order to have your credits released so quickly, because I don't know of any other seller that gets their credits that fast. Probably has more to do with the fact that you've been on the site for over five years then anything else, which is great for you. Just wish Listia was more generous with this policy with the rest of its trusted sellers. Too bad you had to deal with clueless buyers like My7family; I would have just added her to my growing block list LOL! Good thing the rest of us dummies actually know what this Roku is worth and what the real credit to dollar values are these days LOL! Good luck!

I feel like everything on here is a great deal. The fact that you can earn hundreds of thousands of credits without spending a cent is awesome in my book!! Even the offers that do cost money are great. I just took advantage of a birchbox membership and earned 243,000 credits! I only spent $10.00 and it was something that I've been wanting to do... So the points were a huge plus!

You know, it's really a shame that people can't do simple math to see what things are really worth on this site. So, maybe this will help those that feel the need to make silly uneducated comments about the price of this item; 1,000,000 credits divided by the current credit to dollar ratio of 17,600 = $56. The Roku 3 right now is selling on Amazon for $84 to $100. So, in my opinion, even if this item sells for 1.5 million credits, with the free shipping, it's still a great deal! Do the math people, compare apples to apples, and make sure you know what you're talking about before you make stupid comments on other people's listings!

Thank you so much!!! I really wonder what goes on in people's heads. You can literally get anything you want off this site for free by earning credits. I've earned hundreds of thousands of credits over the years. Between that and selling, I've never even thought about purchasing credits. So even if the credit to cash value isn't on point, it's still cheaper then paying retail to must of us... I wish i didn't let people irritate me the way I do.... But it would be even better if folks took a second to think about what they're going to say or do.

( I agree with Tcrew as well I feel Listia has changed ) I used to be in here daily and listed tons of items but it's gotten too negative plus the credit to dollar ratio is just plain ridiculous !! I'm so bummed :(
Great auction though!! Hopefully you get a bunch of credits!! ❤️❤️

It certainly has. Im sure the folks working for listia could do more about it too. There's a person that has a prada wallet up right now with a GIN of 1 million credits... She's claiming its authentic but it's not. Id be willing to bet my life on that. I flagged the auction and I know a friend of mine did as well. This was yesterday and the auctions still there. There should be a direct way to report fraud, to report someone breaking the law so the auction can be pulled immediately. A simply search of how to authenticate a prada wallet will prove me right. But both times I've had auctions pulled it was almost immediately after I listed them! I tried talking to the seller about it and she told me to bid or get off her page, then sent me ignorant comments through the messenger. Can you imagine how it would feel to get ripped off like that? You're an honest trustworthy person here, thinking you're going to get a prada wallet for credits. Then you receive this shoddy a$$ wallet. One way, yea thats what you get for not doing research, but on the other hand, that doesn't give anyone the right to take advantage of that. Im sorry I ranted but this is getting ridiculous.

I 100% agree there!! I couldn't believe the one user offered me 30,000 credits for this roku!! Lol. I recently had someone request a refund for not receiving the item.. The auction ended on a Sat, Monday was a holiday, and Tue morning he claimed he never received it. The mail hadn't even gone yet!!! I denied the refund and now, not even a couple weeks later, OF COURSE, he claims the item never showed. It was a non machinable envelope, and in my experience they can take a couple weeks to arrive. So chances are, it will show up any day, but I approved the second request just so I don't have to deal with him.

Thank you very much!! I've been around listia for years and have had alot of fun... With things like Facebook and Twitter that are so drama filled, I like to come to listia and enjoy all the kindness that still prevails. I've been very fortunate to have the option of listing items on here instead of returning...esp with this. While this is an item that we wouldn't die without, its still technically something we need... So to me, the option to win this at absolutely no cost, i think I'd phenomenal and needs to be shared with all!!!

Thank you so much. You're kindness is very much appreciated. This is the most negative auction I've ever had!! I'm not sure how listing a new, high value item at 0 credits and free shipping qualifies as ripping people off... Credits have a different meaning different people. I'm not here to fund anything or make money. I'm here to have fun and find great deals. So if an item I want goes outside of this "credit value", I'll still bid of I have the credits.

I'm not sure... The last one I had end over 450,000 I got the credits right away then there was one around 650,000 i think, that I got right away. Are you not fully verified? It doesn't have anything to do with how many credits you have, that wouldn't make any sense. I've had between 0 and 4 million and never had my points held except when i first started.
