Description

The listing, 2 REAL Mullein leaves (NOT FOR INGESTING) - An Old World Multi Purpose Plant has ended.

I found this plant, as a weed in my yard. It was so interesting, that I researched it.

I came to find out, it was NOT a "weed", but a highly valued, historical plant, with many uses.

I just read that 1 can put the leaves in shoes, like insoles, to ease "stinky feet".

Other uses, are as a poultice for bruises.

There are so many uses for this plant.

However, any effectiveness, is relative. Ancient peoples, did manage to survive for thousands of years, but their botanical uses, may or may not have actually helped anything.

You can do some research on this plant yourself to discover it's supposed uses.

Plants generally are powerful, as can be seen in the great number of shampoos, balms, etc, with plant extracts in them.

Here's a site that claims it can be used in many health preparations, such as soaps, oils, etc.

The 2nd & 3rd photos, are of a 1st year plant, of which the leaves offered came off of.

The photos with the flower spike, are 2nd year plants, & 1 of the reasons this plant is also called the torch plant, or candle wick plant.

Listia, if I'm not supposed to list this sorry.

I've seen inedible herbs offered on here before, so since I had to give this plant a "hair cut" (because it planted itself in one of my veggie beds, where I want to plant something else, I wanted to make as much room for what is supposed to be in the bed, so clipped the outer leaves, but I didn't kill the wayward plant itself.)

I thought I might list some on here, in case someone might want to get aquainted with it, and find a use for some of the leaves.

If Listia cancels tis listing for some reason, I'll find a use for them.

I just thought I have a few to share, if anyone else wanted any.

I actually very much appreciate them, just showing up in my garden.

I use the leaves in my veggie "Scrap Frappe" (pureed plant matter) fertilizer.

I also dehydrated 2 leaves & crushed them. (last photos)
