You could give us an idea of the shipping cost it would be for each. All shipping cost, 25% off cost, 50% off cost, & 75% off cost. That way we know what we are in for before we bid.

i can give examples, but nothing exact, unless you live in one of the cities i use as an example, i'll do 1 for east coast, 1 for west coast and 1 in-state for the examples.

: weight in the box i found to ship it in is 2 lbs. 10.4 oz from zip code 76049

EX #1---seattle WA (98101) $9.87 for parcel post--- 25% off is $7.40 --- 50% off is $4.93 --- and 75% off would be $2.47

EX#2 --glasboro NJ (08028) --- $9.36 parel post -- 25% off = $7.02 -- 50% off is $4.68 -- and 75% off is $2.34

EX#3==San Antonio (78201)--- $6.53 for parcel post -- 25% off = $4.90 -- 50% off is $3.26 -- and 75% off = $1.63

if in doubt about your exact cost go to: http://postcalc.usps.gov/

my zip code is 76049, enter your zip code, choose package and enter the weight of 2 lbs. and 10.4 oz. and on the next page the rates come up.
to apply any discounts:
,{divide the rate by 4}--that is your 75% off shipping rate, for 25% off, subtract {$?.??} from the shipping rate above, for 50% off double {$?.??}-----sorry about the math lesson there--i was trying to make it clear, but i don't know if i did!

Since this item is more than 13oz it can't be sent 1st Class but that should all fit in a Medium Flat Rate box which is about $11.

while looking up shipping prices i noticed that in most cases priority is only (in MOST cases) around a $1.00 more. and yes it does all fit in a medium flat rate box, i was just trying to save the winner $$ on shipping if possible!

Just a heads up about shipping Parcel Post. Yes, it is cheap. The reason it is cheap is because the packages aren't guaranteed so all the 1st class, Priority and Express mail is loaded first. IF THERE IS ROOM in the shipment, then they load Parcel Post items. It can take up to 30 days to get a Parcel Post package and if it gets lost you are screwed. There is no way to track it or get your money back. I always try to send by First Class. I only send Priority if it is cheaper than the First Class rate based on weight.

How much is shipping to 83646
Mar 2nd, 2012 at 6:35:20 AM PST by
Original
a few comments below yours i give a few examples of shipping rates, i would think it would be a little cheaper than EX#1 (which was $9.87 for parcel -- usually priority is a dollar or 2 higher though)

You can track any package with delivery confirmation. I don't see how parcel post would be exempt from that.

i think i tried to do a parcel post with confirmation once, but i can't remember if the PO let me--bad memory . if they don't do comfirm. on parcel, then i would ship priority i suppose!

how much is shipping to 76137?
Feb 27th, 2012 at 4:35:00 PM PST by

$5.75 parcel and priority would be $6.05 -- guessing from you zipcode, are you in FW somewhere??

how much shipping for this to 52802 and how many skeins is there in the box
Feb 26th, 2012 at 3:45:54 PM PST by
Original
there are 4 full skeins and 2 balls of the same that equal more than a full skein, and a lot of balls in various sizes parcel post would be $8.54 and priority would be $9.70--any shipping discounts would be applied to which ever of the shipping method you choose!

I almost forgot to add my description for possible reduced shipping prices!! i'm going to have to charge for shipping for more of my autions in the very near future myself. it's amazing how much money i shpend on shipping my auctions---build up fast!
sorry you don't live closer -- people here in Tx could get it the cheapest, but i didn't check parcel or priority prices for outside of the stae since it gets more expensive the further away you are!
my Mom used to make lap blankets for the nursing homes and scarves and hats for Samaritain's Purse at Christmas time.
