Disney Donald Duck 1oz Silver Clad Coin (FREE SHIPPING!)

This encapsulated (1) ounce .999 silver clad coin features a Disney Character on one side, and Queen Elizabeth on the reverse!

This item is silver plated. Clad. Silver plated=clad. Counting this sentence, 'CLAD' has been mentioned 10 times.. SILVER PLATED' has been mentioned 4 times! This item is silver plated (clad) and is NOT BEING REPRESENTED as anything but. Can you tell this might have come up once before? It has- just once-- from an old listing where clad was mentioned 5 times; and the buyer STILL opened a case with Listia! (Genius)- so hence, this disclaimer.... SILVER CLAD, folks! CLAD!

That said, all Listia rules apply! I only ship to verified Listia addresses! Members who do not confirm their address within 7 days are subject to credit forfeiture (per Listia rules)! No buyer's remorse! This isn't a 'try-it-before-you-buy-it" site. My descriptions are always very well detailed; if you have any questions prior to bidding- feel free to message me or post a comment!

It was pretty straight forward as I recall (it's been so long since I have joined here, I don't remember exactly how I did it); there should be detailed instructions for doing so after winning an auction- or I'd contact support if you can't figure it out =P

Just looked this up on Google; clad v. plated:
In general, and the way I've heard it, a 'clad' item has had a skin of another material mechanically bonded onto it whereas a 'plated' item has had the skin electrochemically deposited. But people use words as they wish, which can lead to confusion.

The practical difference is that a cladding would generally be significantly thicker than a plating. Another difference would be that some materials are easy to plate or easy to plate onto, others are harder. And the same thing with cladding. If you wanted to put a stainless steel 'skin' onto an aluminum part, you would probably use cladding technology; if you wanted a nickel-chrome skin, you would probably electroplate it.
