The listing, ~~100~~ BULK AMOUNT! Purple Wisteria seeds!! Free shipping has ended.

Thanks for checking out my auction!

Its planting time and I want to get these seeds out as soon as possible! I dont have as much time to list auctions now, so I am offering seeds in bulk amounts. Great for anyone who wants a few for themselves and some to earn points here on Listia! These seeds do very well on here. Please check back for more up-coming bulk auctions!

This auction is for 100 purple Wisteria seeds. This plant grows as a vine with beautiful long clusters of flowers. Great for an arbor. I reccomend you NOT plant them too close to your house. As the vine grows and thickens (like a tree trunk), it could do some damage to siiding, eaves, roof, etc.
Also, this picture is NOT of my actual plant, but one I got from google. I just recently planted some of these and have a couple of sprouts only. I harvested these seeds from a Gorgeous bunch of Wisteria plants that grow at the edge of a wooded area near my home.
To plant your seeds, soak them at least 24 hours in water, then cover with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of soil. Some people actually reccomend soaking them in water until the seed sprouts. Your choice. I personally am trying both ways...lol. These can be started in containers.

Please msg me with any questions, and Happy Bidding!

The plants that I got these seeds from are in bloom now! Weather permitting, I will get some pictures of them on sunday. I will get some posted on the auction ASAP

How fast do these bad boys grow?

I really have no idea how fast they grow from seed. I have JUST planted a few outside. BUT I have always had terrible luck growing things from seed, which is why I get a LOT of seeds to start out with...LOL! I know once established, they grow very quickly. I bought a sapling 2 weeks ago, which is still in the bag it came in, (have to get a bigger pot for it) and the shoots on it have grown about 5 inches since I bought it.

F&W!!! These grow very fast and you have to make sure you have something for it to grow on or it will find something!!! They need maintenance for them to be just the way you want them. My mom had one years ago!!! There are also the vine type, which im guessing this one is and a tree type!

Fanned back! You are right about them growing fast. The plant I bought has tripled in size in the past 2 weeks. Yes, I do beleive this is the vine type.
