I agree with viper that is unfair and against the rules. and yeah hes already put this up and I lost the bid early on, it went over 500 if I recall right

How are you going to take back the item if it doesn't reach a certain amount? You can not do that. Once you list an auction, you can not set a reserve price on it. This is per Listia rules. And what do you mean it went higher last round? Did you auction the same item off and didn't get what you wanted and didn't give it to the highest bidder on that auction?

Once an auction starts, you have to just keep bidding unless there was a GIN. There is no GIN. (get it now) The highest bid wins.
