China Rose

According to Graham Stuart Thomas, China Roses are the class upon which modern roses are built.[7] Today's exhibition rose owes its form to the China genes, and the China Roses also brought slender buds which unfurl when opening. Growing rose bushes from seed is a bit trickier than simply purchasing a plant and setting it into the ground. Lots of preparation and luck are involved in being successful in your growing ventures. However, you may find that the extra work needed in planting rose bushes from seed is enjoyable and will make you appreciate the roses even more when they finally come into bloom. With all the care you will put into growing the bushes from seed, be sure you stop and smell them.
remember you are bidding on 5 seeds.

hi....appreciate your comments about the challenge of growing rose from seed....have you actually grown any of these seeds? I keep hearing all the blue/dark purple/rainbow roses are not real, have to be dyed to get those colors. HOping to hear from someone who's actually grown them. thanks!

I started growing them in my green house and then we had a heat wave hit and I forgot all about the green house, lost everything. But yes I have heard from a few people who have said they have grown them themselves or remember there grandparents growing the.
But there is a lot of information on the internet on the different types of roses and growing from seed. I suggest you take no ones word for anything and do a lot of research yourself. I get my seeds directly from China. No third party on my end.
They are beautiful. I have a new batch of seeds in pots again, so perhaps in the future I will be able to say YES, I have grown them myself.
