Jewelweed is delightful in several ways! First of all, it attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Secondly, if you get poison ivy, it is an old and effective remedy. It is prolific and will seed itself. Jewelweed is a must for any wildflower garden. The blooms are a bright orange, although there are yellow and even pink varieties, I believe. Best of all, perhaps, is that it will bloom even in a fairly shady area! I have to charge for shipping because these are live young plants and they are fairly "tender," but hardy, i.e. they may arrive a bit wilted but I have often transplanted them and watched them spring back to life from looking "wilted." They are NOT hardwood. They are annuals but I always get plenty of them every spring!
