This will come in handy. I am a amateur radio Op.This would work well for 10 meters :) I am just getting back into the hobby after 10 years break. My home burned down back then and I havent had any equipment since then. Sucks being poor. Wish I could find some HF rigs here. I havent seen any yet. Prob wont lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your home. It's very tough starting over, I know from experience.

lol i too am a amateur radio operator i thought he same thing this would be great for for 10 meters and hf as the range is 3-30 mhz i havent seen any hf or any ham rigs at all here but listia had a policy on auctions that had to start out at 100 credits so no one wants to take the chance as some rigs cost thousands but they are letting sellers decide what to start the credits out at dont know how long there going to do that but i have seen more high priced items on here now that we can choise what to start at but any way 73's and nice auction

I went by "Knucklehead" call letters were KABG-1183 in Waynesboro,PA. since I was 13 years old in 1976.
NO, I'm NOT a knucklehead ! I got the handle from my local Radio Shack store. Dennis Smith (Shack Job) was the manager of the store, back then they hand wrote the reciepts. My brother and I were clowning around in the store one day, and I bought something small and He wrote out the reciept as "G. Knucklehead". The next month I recieved their sale flyer addressed to "G. Knucklehead" until then I never recieved a flyer from them, but the "G.Knucklehead" made the difference !

I was Lady WIldcat in Portland OR and Georgia Peach if I had a few drinks as that sounded like where I was from. Hubby ran a 24 hour repair shop for truckers. Got my handle from the wildcat radio we had. His 1st license was 13Q814, one of the very first to be handed out in Oregon in 1963( I think) Miss helping out in ice storms and running lost items to truckers that they left behind at truck stops. Plus was a Radio Shack manager and would install the radios for customers. Wish my body would bend that well nowadays.
