Cute Versace black nylon backpack purse with shiny brass hardware. Versace Profumi is embroidered on the front of the bag. Cute, cute, cute! Great for trips. It does have a slight smell of cigarettes. Just a slight. My daughter got it and gave it to me to auction. I have an auction going right now for a Victoria's Secret purse that has a slight cigarette smell too. My daughter smokes and says she can't smell anything and that I'm nuts and it's all in my head.LOL! If you smoke or don't mind a little smoke odor than you will love this cute bag.

Thanks! Yeah, just wanted to be honest about it. I use to smoke several years ago and when I quit I became very sensitive and allergic to smoke. The purse doesn't have that bad of a cigarette smell. Someone gave a tip on my other auction to spray freebreez and let it set outside for a while

I received a few t-shirts on Listia, from a user who smoked, but I wasn't warned, so I was a tiny bit annoyed. Although, I think that even if I knew about it, I would still bid because I just loved the shirts so much!
I think that if the item is worth it, then the smoky smell is not a huge problem. I'll probably just spray it with some perfume/scent, and let it sit somewhere for a month or so. Plus, I need a bag for school, so if I use this at school, then the smell will probably fade quickly.
Lol, sorry for the long rant. I really do love this bag, though. f&w. :-)

Yeah, they should warn people if they smoke. I was s smoker at one time and I didn't realize that my stuff had an oder. If someone said anything I would get defensive.lol I can't really say much about a smoker.lol If someone is a smoker they will never smell it.

I'm an ex-smoker, but i'm sure with a little Febreze inside and outside will get rid of the smoke smell. :-)
