Wow people are so immature. Lol this is a really cute suit snd by no means wrong for a young child to wear. It sure isn't like a swimsuit you let your kids wear or a two piece that you women wear. I think its wrong to wear a skanny two piece for women.

Your right, sometimes I react before I think, it was not my place to say anything also it was not my intention to pass judgement, I just feel sometimes you have to look outside what you think it cute to what others could see.

Sorry, mother to mother I didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you. I just reread my first response and I didn't mean "really?" as in what you were saying was incredulous but rather as a genuine question. I've seen dresses with way less material and way shorter than these at Target. Some so short they come with sayings on the underwear bottoms because they know that baby's bum will be showing. I've seen moms dress their daughters in Juicy Couture dresses that may as well be t-shirts by the time the girls sit down, halter tops that open up, low rise jeans that show girls underwear...to me those are far worse than a ruffled skirt that is long enough to cover their knees and has so much material that if they bent over, all you would see is more skirt, not panties or diapers. I guess that's why I see these as innocent and cute as opposed to lingerie. I, of course, wouldn't let my kid wear this outfit to school and I definitely wouldn't go all Toddlers & Tiaras with a spray tan, fake hair and such. I think there can still be sweetness & innocence in this stuff and as a mom I'd like to teach my kid that it is okay to be themselves and have fun with their clothes (tastefully) and to not live in fear at every corner they turn. Every mom wants to protect their child, I think that goes without saying. I just know that if someone is going to prowl on a child, chances are it won't matter what they're wearing. We all just do our best by our kids, that's all. ;)

the kind of parent who lets their mind go that way? really? Do you hae any idea how many sexual predators there are out there... everywhere? I guess I'm 'the kind of parent' who doesnt want anyone to look at my child as 'prey' for lack of a better word. My daughter is in ballet and I dont see 2 or 3 year olds wearing outfits like this. to each his own, but I wouldn't bash on a parent whose priority in everything is to protet their child. Kids grow up too fast as it is. Its not like I have my daughter in ankle length dresses lol, but this is just crazy! I asked a couple coworkers just to make sure I wasnt being crazy, and I got all the same answer, no way for little guys, but this is your auction. I just am throwing my opinion out there. No need to respond, I will just move on.

This statement above implies that anyone who would want this outfit for their child or would let their child wear this outfit does not have every priority to protect their child and is trying to get people to look at their child as prey. Which is the same impression I got from your initial comment and it's why I said, not for YOUR toddler perhaps. I'm not sure how you're envisioning this on your child. I am a mother and would dress my daughter in it the way I described below and in the way that is shown in the photo I just added. And yes, I do realize how many child predators our out there...everywhere. If I lived my life in fear of that, I would never leave the house. I don't disagree when you say to each their own, yourself, myself and any other parent who does or doesn't agree with this outfit, included. And if you're not bidding in or watching this auction, I'm not sure why you even commented on it other than to pass judgement.

This is a toddler outfit? holy cow! i thought it was adult lingerie type clothiing! cute for an adult, not so much for a toddler

Not so much for YOUR toddler perhaps.

I guess, if you are the type of person to let your mind go that way, it is. :-/ Really? A skirt that is fuller and longer than a tutu and, depending on height, would go the toddler's knees or calves (and can be worn with tights and sneakers or boots) and a tank top with ruffles on it (that can be paired with a denim jacket) is lingerie? I can only imagine what you think of toddler ballerina outfits and the parents that let them parade around in that kind of "lingerie". These types of tops and skirts are extremely popular for girls of all ages, all you have to do is Google "girls pettiskirt" to see that they are cute an innocent. But, as you've made clear here, we're all entitled to our own opinions on what would be appropriate for our own kids. :)

Sorry, not sure I understand the question. I didn't make them myself, I bought them so I would imagine someone else made it. Not sure if that answers your question.

Yes! The top is a lycra material and the skirt has an elastic top for the waist. :)

What I meant is who did you purchase this from? A store, etsy, someone you know who makes them.
