what is going on pal? i am new here. bought a couple of things. kind of looking for a camera. i think i will be listing a sony recorder. too complicated for me. i played with it for a couple of hours then put it in the drawer. i thought about listing a gold and diamond ring, but i don't know how much to ask for it. cost me $750 25 years ago. i also have a killer engagement ring. i had a wreck and ended up paralyzed on the bottom half. she couldn't take it. left me after six months. it has a 11/4 ct. center stone, then ten more to make it 2 ct. Yeah, Yeah, i loved her. Ha Ha. at least i got the ring back. it is an antique. got it at a estate sale. was told it was worth ten k. got it for 4,300 that is the last time i let a girl pick out her own ring ha ha. f&w .

I'm sorry for your problems...gotta be rough on you. I wouldn't know what to tell you about pricing your items. I personally feel that you should start the bidding low, and if anyone is interested in the items they will go up from there. But my biggest suggestion is not to start out with any high-ticket items until you have done SEVERAL lower ticket items and have gotten excellent feedback, and most assuredly, get verified by Listia. Just having your facebook page listed won't get you many bids. Until you build your reputation and prove that you are trustworthy by attaining your Seller Wings and Trusted Sellers Badge, verifying your phone number and credit card through Listia (It will NOT be shared with others), then don't put high ticket items up for auction because many people will not bid a lot of credits if you don't have a good track record.
