This chick comes on here talking about what the tv "probably" does or doesn't do...How retarded...If you don't know for sure about something I'm auctioning why are you even opening your mouth???? Do some research then speak...otherwise you just look ignorant and like a HATER! The tv can be used for many many things! Like hooking up a camcorder, hooking up a game system to it, hooking up dvd player to it to watch movies, hooking it up to cable connection and watching television, watching local broadcast channels during power outages, watching local broadcast major channels while cooking in your kitchen. I have many devices that I use and if that wasn't the case I would keep this little tv for myself...Im nice enough to offer it to the listia community and people want to come on here and talk Sh*t ungrateful....Don't come on here trying to talk smack cause you will get your feelings hurt!

This probably doesn't get real tv in, now that we all need a converter box to watch tv at all. so this item may turn on but it will never allow you to watch tv on it. and there is probably no way to hook it up to a converter box either.thats just the god honest truth folks i had one of these and yes i sold it on here as a "collectors item" hello? because this thing is so out of date thats all its good for and just because you claim you paid over $100.00 for it doesnt make worth more then anyone as a collector would pay for it nowadays.

First of all you need to do research before you come on my auction wall and talk like you know something when you don't....The tv can be hooked up to a cable connection, playstation etc etc etc because it has an AV input jack and cords! The TWO antennas allow for local broadcast DIGITAL and analog channels to be viewed and picked up. The conversion was to DIGITAL and I specifically state in the description that DIGITAL channels can be viewed! "Built-in NTSC/ATSC tuner for both analog and digital channels" So check your facts before you come trying to downplay my auction and oh yea PICK YOUR FACE UP OFF THE GROUND

People are just stating the facts not being ignorant, since we changed to digital most portable tvs do not work anymore.On June 12, 2009, America's full-power broadcast television stations switched from using analog TV signals to digital TV signals. If you have a digital portable TV, no problem. But what if you have an analog TV; will it still work? The answer to this question is yes and no. Yes, your analog portable TV can still work if you either get a digital-to-analog converter box or sign up with a subscription service like cable or satellite TV. If you don't follow through with one of the above suggestions, then no, your analog portable TV won't work, unless you move to a country that still broadcasts with analog TV signals or if you don't mind being able to pick up transmissions only from low-power TV stations or translator TV stations. This will most likely be used to play a dvd player or gaming console, do you research before you slander people.

What the MANUFACTURER has stated, which is the same thing i have had to repeat over and over and OVER again! Since people don't want to read the description *shakes head* "The built-in ATSC/NTSC tuner for both analog and digital channels and the built-in antenna enables you to receive crisp reception of your favorite channels - and it will work after the digital to analog transition on February 19, 2009." And that's a FACT...I haven't assumed or stated my opinion once on this listing about this TV. People who speak but know nothing on the topic make themselves look ignorant.
