Questions & Comments
Your little girls are so cute in the photo, and I think both their heads are the perfect size LOL ... so glad all that went well. This is a nice necklace design too ... you have a nice eye, like StaceyLynn and Arbon!
I was actually looking for more smiley charms ... please let me know if you list more. I just LOVE those things, might make a cell-phone charm from one of them this time!
Found it again easy, since I had commented yesterday! The big beads are probably jasper, which comes in a lot of colors and patterns and is a popular type of stone for beads. The small beads are glass, called cat's eye (short for catoyent), which is a fiber-optic treatment ... not sure how they do it but you can buy cat's-eye fiberoptic beads in all colors.
Some other beaders might have a better "bead" on the large beads, StaceyLynn or Arbon might know what they are, but they look like stone to me. If they aren't stone they are probably porcelain.
I really like this! My tastes have changed so much lately and now none of the jewelry I actually have fits my style anymore haha... I really like quirky pieces that can look sorta sophisticated but can still be worn for everyday wear to sorta class it up a bit. Since the university and rent eats most of my money, I've turned to Listia to broaden my accessory collection :) This would be great!
