Description

The listing, Logitech usb Web Cam has ended.

680 x 400 usb Logitech web cam.
microphone in unit

Doesn't pan with your movement, but you can aim it. Sorry, can't find the model number. I paid 38$ for it a year ago.

Comes with "claw" to pinch over your monitor or a snap on disc to set it on a flat surface.

I used it about 10 times, my computer wasn't fast enough for skype so I upgraded to a better computer and it has a web cam built in to it. Now the little bugger just sits lonely on my desk.

Comes complete with drivers and software (quickcam 8.4.8) necessary to take quick camera shots, video, or make calls (skype is better for that tho).

Shipping cost: $4.90

Another thing you can do is IMMEDIATELY contact Listis. If you can show an email from the guy who says he didn't bid, Listia may REMOVE the those bids.

I'll do my best! thanks for the insight.

You should be able to BLOCK further bids from the guy who said he didn't bid but shows up as the high bidder. If so, let us know - it's getting close to the end.....

aclawbear I don't know how to fix this. nbgryusan says they didn't bid on it and I don't know what their top bid was.... I'm sorry. What a clusterF

nbgryusan is saying he/she did not bid on this (which is odd because they're the high bidder) and the listing may default so someone better hit the bid over 101 if they want it. If it doesn't go through, I'm going to be pretty apprehensive about going through another auction all over again. I wanted listia to work...

Will you ship free in US if the bids get high enough?

This is my very first auction jharper06. Let me do it this way, figure things out, see if the winning bidder is responsible enough to make everything go through and I promise that I'll take that into consideration in the future. I have a lot of small techie computer accessories to give away.

I guess it will work with a 32 bit since you were able to get it to work with 64 bit. Right? Will this work through cox.net cable?
Jan 23rd, 2010 at 7:09:50 PM PST by
Original
It probably will, but check that logitech site above for all of the different os / driver combinations abobe. Cox.net, is that dsl? There are various settings within the software to make the sending audio/video rate more compatible if you need to. Like making the picture size 320 x 280 instead of 680 x 480. I don't think this would work in sync perfectly with dsl, just as skype is hard to use, but with cable internet and verizon fios, you're good to go.

er... for lilhamham, I'm making an exception if she wins the bid. And it's still 11.45$ USD for Canada shipping a box....grabbed the wrong quote from the site.

Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box* (up to 4 pounds) $11.45 Canada/Mexico 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8"

I actually think this webcam takes better pictures than the one built in to my computer, but then I haven't experimented much with the new one.

I would but I've already uninstalled the software and packed up the camera, however, here are a few photos I've taken in the past...There was daylight in these photos which is key to any web cam. http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/9039/sillydk.jpg and http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/1029/picture85h.jpg

I find the camera works best at the 320x240 for skype so I've never tried to take a 680.

Using the logitech guide to download the newest drivers, I was able to successfully install this camera on vista 64 bit, and took this photo. Logitech also has a file for windows 7, use the above link to download it if you win the auction.
