From a smoke free and pet free home. Kid friendly however. As clean as a mother's bag can be. I will clean it as much as I could before sending it. As far as I know there aren't any stains. If there are, They aren't on the outside of the bag. As far as I know the only damage is in the back pocket. I'm not sure of that's even a damage or if that's how it is. I'm not a bag person.
