This beauty is very special gift from the sea! This "gemstone" is a beautiful Abalone shell from New Zealand that captures all the colors of the earth, sea and sky and is ever-changing in light.

This is a big ring. It has a Native American feel to it, an homage to the Four DIrections. Prong set in silverplate over alloy the round stone measures about one inch in diameter. Lead and nickle free, of course! Size 9.

is this what they call faux abalone? I have heard we have wiped out the abalone population, I was so shocked when I first heard faux abalone, I can't believe it is so rare now!! Thak you, Michelle
