Smoke scrying is a method used by Old World British/Gaelic and Druids and Native Americans. It is the art of reading images created by the smoke as it levitates. Certain plumes and swirls also have particular meanings. The same is said for wax. The art of scrying wax is the method that Nostradamus is most famous for using. This is the art of reading images and symbols made by the wax as it is melted by candle flame and dropped into a mirrored or shiny bowl of water. Reading wax is referred to as 'Ceromancy'. Reading smoke is referred to as 'Capnomancy'.
