What a delightful item! Ya know, I never did like this character when I was growing up. I thought he was just a troublemaker. I suppose I related way too much to the poor frustrated kids in the story. And I suppose that empathetic frustration and angst was too much for the kids watching Big Bird fight with his Sesame Street compatriots over whether or not Mr. Snuffleupagus was real or imagined. I was for him staying imaginary. It was like a secret to know Snuffy was really real. And so it goes that The Cat in the Hat is real, but the kids wish he were imagined. Which do you prefer? The Imagination or the "Certainty" of Reality?
I'm am definitely "watching"this auction and will be on the bidding floor when the time comes.
Thanks for offering this unique item for the community to consider.
