The listing, Toshiba A105 Satellite Laptop ~ WORKS has ended.

I will do my very best to describe my laptop to the best of my ability, maybe most of your questions are answered. But if not PLEASE do not hesitate to ask. I know when I am buying something I want to know exactly what I am buying, especially a computer.
This is a Toshiba Satellite A105 15" Standard screen laptop "not widescreen" It is running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. The Product key is registered and windows is activated. The Model number is PSAANU-04N029. The serial number is 37271487Q.147 GB with 136 free. 1014 MB Ram.Cosmetics: The top of the laptop case has a scratch and what looks to be a beginning fading spot of the gray on top of the laptop lid also.Otherwise, nice. The DVD/CD player works great. The sound is awesome on this laptop. The keyboard is in excellent condition with no loose or missing keys. This has been my favorite laptop because of the raised keys and larger screen. The keyboard is easy to use, finding the keys is ease.
I have tried to add many photos to show you the laptop on and off. I had to turn off my living room light to show you the buttons lit on the laptop so a couple of pics turned out darker than others. But this way you can actually see it. The battery is included, still installed in the laptop but DOES NOT hold a charge. It has to stay plugged in. The charger is the original Toshiba charger and is included. The Dial up modem works perfectly. It does have the ethernet connection and USB ports, if you want to use WIFI or wireless, you will need to purchase a Netgear kit which is easy to find and not too expensive. I have had this laptop for quite a while, I used it for dial up until I got wireless. Then my wifi switch went out on this one, I borrowed a netgear kit from my friend and used it for wifi.Until My husband just bought me a new Toshiba windows 8 for my early Christmas. It is password protected, I can send it as it is now and give you the password as it has been formatted or I can completely format it again.:

I ran out of characters when I was describing, so I wanted to add, All USB ports work, the charger cord is in excellent condition and IS INCLUDED, the windows vista sticker is on the bottom of the laptop, the palm/ mouse pad works great, there is some finger rubs on the left click button,but it works great and I do NOT have any discs included. ALSO: Mcafee is the anti virus program running. NO VIRUSES have ever affected my laptop. The laptop also has protector suite, "fingerprint scan" which I haven't enabled, but if you wish to use it it is available :-)

also I wanted to add the screen is 15" standard, not widescreen. This is the larger square screen. The screen resolution is great, no dead pixels.

I can tomorrow. I will have to take it out of the back of the laptop. Like said also, the battery doesn't hold a charge, it is the original Toshiba battery.

Hi. I am posting the pics you needed right now, also I have taken pics of the back of the laptop with the battery in and the battery out. I also added more photos the best I could of the charger :-) I was going to wait until tomorrow but my 89 year old mother wanted me to come over and list her chatty cathy doll for her as she is unable to do it herself. and you can't say no to a sweet momma like mine :-)

ALSO This will work for wifi and wireless if you have or buy a netgear usb wireless adaptor or another brand. You can get the netgear kit at wally world for about 40 or 50 dollars I was told. I borrowed my best friends netgear to run this toshiba listed on wifi.

No, it doesn't. When you unplug the laptop will only stay on by battery for about 3 minutes.

Nice job on the description & pics, few concerns but this looks to be well maintained . And please correct me if I'm wrong.
Date of manufacture 2005? Have the fans been dusted? Do you use a cooling pad? Any issues with heat from the CPU? Is that the original HD(hard drive) I see it's running Vista on 2 gb of ram? Is it expandable to 4? And one more- You say the wifi went out. Did the light go out? Did you lose the driver? Is there a switch that went out or do you use the FN key to activate the wifi. tyvm
