Thanks! I'm sure they will be! I remember my Mom making them when I was just a little girl! But she hasn't made them in years! I think hurricane Agnes wiped out that recipe! :(

Yeah, we lived right beside a creek that just went ballistic and flooded our whole basement! My parents lost a lot of stuff in the basement! I was about 5 years old when Agnes wiped out the mid-Atlantic states in 1972 and I will never forget it! :(

I don't believe they were called Black Moons- at least not in New England. I always thought Black Moons were a Southern treat similar to Moon Pies but I could be wrong.
