I am not shure if this is for playstation 1 or playstation 2.my son has owned both. my daughter said they used it for ps1 and 2 . can't be used for ps 3

You can use it on a PS2 to save PS1 game saves but not PS2 game saves.

Yup! It's for playstation 1, not so sure about two. But your children seem to have been right so far. Here is the image of someone selling it with a PS1.

I have this card at home; it is a "multi-card" memory card for PSX, the two circular dots at the top of the card are actually buttons you press, which cycle through the cards

I had two of these. One with 32 Memory Cards in 1 and 1 with 64. Still have them in a box somewhere I bet.
