I just saved them from my pocket change when I was a youngster. lol just kidding. I do remember getting a few when I was a kid, but I didn't save any then. I have been collecting coins for about 45 years. I buy and sell a lot of coins, pick them up at flea markets, auctions, coin shops, private individuals & sometimes even at yard sales.
