I actually wouldn't say it was family-friendly. The first season especially has some graphic things that happen and I know I wouldn't let my kids watch it until they were teenagers at least.

It is actually a super awesome show - we watch it after the kids go down for bed. It's very enthralling, moves fast, and has some really interesting perspectives on the idea of being a superhero.
