Emperor: Crispus Caesar
322 -323AD

very worn.

This coin is broken in half, but would have been about the size of a U.S. Quarter.

Front: CRISPVS NOBILIS CAESAR, eldest son of Constantine.

Back: a wreath containing VOTa X refering to vows undertaken by rulers regularly for proper performance of their civic duties. Various issues are found with numerals between V and XXXX. . Around the wreath is CAESARVM NOSTRORVM

Wonderful piece of ancient history. I love these ancient coins, and they are not commonly found on listia!!
