Magnets are not reliable. I WILL NOT ACCEPT acid testing performed by anyone other than a reputable jeweler. Must be in writing and on letterhead.
This is the only way I can protect myself. I hope this clears up everything.

I always add tracking, but listia uses a script saying they don't know what was sent. I take photos of everything so I can send it to them. Even when something is sent back I take it to the post office and open it there. I've received, a toy, and items destroyed. I try to cover all my options to protect myself. I work hard to list this stuff and pay a lot in items and shipping. So no matter what Listia says its not free. Esp when there auction base has a cash value. They are not worth credits.
They could have a great thing here and make it huge. But they have to have better protection for sellers. I was told once the buyer doesn't like to pay to send it back. I responded, they should read the auction, ask questions. The seller is out shipping, supplies, and products are no longer NEW.

I don't know what is going on with the post office lately. I ALWAYS send what I list. There have been a few instances where I package the item and put the shipping label with tracking in the mailbox and it just vanishes. All the tracking shows is that a label was printed on a certain date then nothing. I had one honest buyer tell me she got her item even though the tracking said nothing. This is ridiculous!!

The post office is a joke at time. One lady it took 2 months to receive. Tracking showed nothing. That's why I take photos now. But in that case she was so lovely and said she new I sent it and just waited. People don't understand ( in most cases) we don't have any control once its in the post offices hands.
My problem now is certain people sabotaging my auctions by emailing people not to bid. It's cruel and very hurtful.

Hopefully it's not packed yet! What is the size inside of it for scrawny wrists, lol?! Most items have to be resized on me and a lot of kid's jewelry just isn't that cute! Excellent idea about the pictures when you're putting up great items like this. The tracking number tells you nothing but where it is. I'm hoping most Listians are the GOOD kind!!! My favorite was the one that never shipped the items and I didn't notice it since I'd gotten a lot of items that week that had free shipping. Over a month later, they gave me feedback! Hmm, got my items a few days later, lol! Don't let the bad apples push you off of here! I'd only take an item like this to a real jeweler also!

It's 1centimeter and measures 6 inches. It's supposed to fit any wrist because its bendable. I hope this helps :)
