bought this roll to have some fun here. up for auction is 10 uncirculated unshearched 1955-s lincoln cents. ill open this roll and put 10 in for each auction, will not even look at them. . going to list 5 auction .this year isa the big year for double die errors, to the triple S mint mark. good luck and happy bidding.

I am from Houston and ACTUALLY have owned 2 seperate double strike 1955s one lady thought hers was a counterfit , her son bought a roll in 1955 from grocery store so they would be able to pay the 3 cent milk money at school, she told me she spent from 1955 till 1981 trying to get rid of all of them and had one she gave me in a penny book for .03 cents . YES Idid payher much more for it it was ms 66 . my other came in a bag od silver money and odd coins which we bought for weight during the Hunt Brothers run on silver the guy put it in bottom of bag of silver coins along with 75 other copper coins and thought he screwed me . I found out after he had left so was very happy it was AU55 So they are out there ...

if 5 of the 55 s get a NGC grade of ms 68 I would be estatic if one got a NGC MS 65 it woud more than pay for the lot great auction none the less

that is double strike 1955 's on the other post not 55 "S" it looked like I was saying the "S" were double not so , but they are high quality
