well as far as the camera goes it was only used for a short period. i bought the camera then a couple weeks later i got a new one as a gift. as you can tell from the pics the case itself has a few minor scratches just from regular use but the lense and the screen have none. one downfall to this is my wife threw away the rechargeable batteries cuz she didn't realize they were rechargeable. but still takes AA batteries. if you want a more in depth description of the camera itself go to:
