This yarn has a wonderful sheen and is very soft. Feels like some of the nice bamboo yarns I've played with.

Austermann Algarve Grande

100% Mercerized Cotton yarn.
Approximately 105 yards per 50 gram ball
recommended size needles: 4- 4.5mm (us sizes 6-7 or G)

I need this. My sweet new husband has a tracheostomy, and cannot wear the prosthesis that goes in the hole in his throat. We've only been married 17 months. I'd do almost anything for him!!! =D

He used-to smoke heavily; and eventually developed throat cancer. He had the throat cancer surgery; which made him have the tracheostomy. He would tell you, he regrets having ever smoked a cigarette in his life! After chemotherapy, and radiation treatments that made him very sick; he just celebrated ten years of being completely cancer-free. We are very grateful. I thank God every day, that he is still alive. =D
