Mine was one a tmobile family plan so I believe not but it may be used as one I'm not too sure

Most T-Mobile phone can be used on Straighttalk. All you have to do is make sure it's unlocked, buy a SIM card from straighttalk and a $45 unlimited card and you can have it working!

It can support an sd card but one isn't required for use and unfortunately only verizon and sprint phones can be flashed to metro pcs, mine is tmobile
