I sold cars for years at my local Ford dealership and if you have ever been in the car business, you know there is a lot of down time, especially in the cold winters. So during those slow times I would usually just peruse around on the internet and I stumbled upon this T-shirt design site, I think it was called Zazzle or something like that, where you could create and sell your own T-shirt ideas. Well, because it was a cold winter and business was slow I would spend my downtime imagining up funny T-shirt ideas. I must of came up with close to 100 different ideas jotting each of them down in a notebook. So, the winter passed and business began to pick up again and in the summer I packed up my desk and left the car business for another job with better hours, steadier paycheck, and less stress. The other day I was looking through random boxes in my garage trying to find things a fellow Listian would appreciate and I stumbled upon the box from my car selling days and the notebook where I jotted down all my hilarious T-shirt ideas as well as some very rough sketches and artwork I drew trying to come up with a cool T-shirt brand name and icon. You know like "Polo" with their horse and "Nike" and their swoosh. Just like those folks who say they are busier since they retired than they were when they were working. I have found that even though my new occupation has better hours, I have No time to Design, Print, and Market my Great T-shirt ideas. I seem to constantly have something else more important to tend to. (Like spending more time with my wife and kids). So I figured I would put all my T-shirt ideas and rough artwork up for bid for someone who has the time and resources to print Awesome T-shirts, but has writers block coming up with snazzy stuff to put on the shirt. I know there are some money makers in here, they just need to be made and marketed. Winner receives my complete listing of ideas and rough artwork and I release all intellectual property to them.
