Questions & Comments
Is that the original clasp? I would like to see a close up of the clasp, if possible.
Well, what would you offer? Considering the condition of the piece and the fact that I'm paying for shipping, I think I have it reasonably priced...I don't think I can change the GIN after bids are placed...??? Thank-you for your interest!! :)
Thanks for sharing a part of history with us I think it's awesome that your offering this piece. Wish I could bid but credits are tied up in another auction right now. But I wish you the best and hope you get the amount of credits you want, Good Luck
Well, I wish you luck, Ron! :) Don't feel like the lone ranger when it comes to getting outbid in the last seconds--I'm sure all of us have lost auctions that way...what I do now is determine my absolute maximum bid and put it in; if someone outbids that, they can have it! :) It's worked well for me so far...
Hi Treasureqwest have any idea what unit the pin is from. just wonder or I could look it up online I believe.I guess I maybe bidding on your auction, just like you told Ron I got out bidded in the last second of the auction But I'm here to give it a try on yours.
Wildman, I don't have a clue as to what unit the pin is from; I suppose I should have researched it online like you mentioned. Thank-You for your interest, and I wish you luck!! :)
After doing a bit of research, I believe this pin is from Second Cavalry, D Company. The First Cavalry was Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders. Hope this helps--happy researching!! :)
