I'm not sure about the wifi, I can ask my daughter when she gets home but I do know it can be used with pre-paid.

No it does not have wifi it is a 3G feature phone. It texts and makes calls and very minimal Internet. Just figured I would help out since I work for AT&T

No you have to get the sim card, my daughter took it out. All the features work though.
