Why don't you add to the info that if you get a minimum bid of say 3000 you'll do free shipping, since I don't have much extra money for things like shipping. Maybe that will get the bids up?

When you set the credit amount to at 499 or 2000 it doesn't matter what your choice is, I'm sorry you feel insulted but the reason people bid low is that it will go into there I bid section and they can watch the auction, and get it at the last moment, As nice as it would be for people to bid high through out your auction the chances of that happening is slim to none unless you have no negitives, and you have a large amount of positive feedbacks and you auctioning off a large ticket item like laptops , game consoles, tvs, camera's ect. If you don't like the starting bid at that amount then start your auctions out at what you want for your item
