This is really cute! Sweet and simple! Made from vintage antique spoon handle that dates well into the early 1900s...This kind sits right over the TOP of your wrist, the chain going down around each side of your wrist and clasping underneath (the bottom side of your wrist) to wherever you feel most comfortable...It is definitely adjustable...If you have excess chain, it is easy to remove due to double split rings (they act as tiny key chain rings)...You can even remove my shell and pearl and put your own charm on this!!! Natural shell and natural Freshwater Pearl decorate this silver plated beauty! Please remember that these handles are used and antique, they may have minor nicks & or scratches on them, but still beautiful all the same! Good luck & thanks for looking!!!!

aproximatly how big around is this with out the extender and with?

Its so hard to explain. Its not like an extender that is attached to a chain. It is one long continuous chain on one side (3 1/2 inches approx without including the pearl) on the other side (including the clasp) is approx. 2 & 1/4 inches long - you can clasp anywhere that is comfortable for you and at the same time it keeps the spoon handle in place across the top of your wrist..Now the handle itself is 4 inches long. but isn't straight, it is curved to fit across the top of ones wrist..
