Charles H. Stuart started "EMJ" in 1949.
In 1955, his hallmark changed to EMMONS (His wife's
maiden name)
His next endeavor was "Sarah Coventry" named after his Granddaughter.

EMJ/Emmons/Sarah Coventry were sold in house parties, like Tupperware.

Some consider Emmons jewelry more scarce and valuable than Sarah Coventry. (I'm not comparing it to Hagler ;)

This set was a hostess gift. When the hostess held an EMJ/Emmons jewelry party, this was her reward.
The earrings and brooch were not mass produced.
They were made solely as hostess gifts and therefore
are harder to find.

They don't make these anymore. A genuine piece of history.
