how long is the strap on the top middle bag from end to end? Do you think it could be used for a crossbody bag?

Yes! It can be used as a crossbody bag. I actually preferred carrying it that way. The strap goes from all the way tight to all the way 'extended'

The strap measured from the middle of the strap to the top of the purse (with the strap fully extended) is 23.5 inches.

I'm not 100% sure, some were given to me, but they will all be washed and or cleaned properly before mailed out to the winner.

2 of the purses are machine washable, the tear drop, green-ish cross body bag in the 1st photo & the brown purse in the 20th photo (bottom left side of the 1st photo)

Absolutely. In the first photo, the 2nd & 3rd and on the lower row the 1st one.
(both brown & the blue purses)
