I honestly find it hard enough to have time to read kids books to my 4 year old son and haven't been able to actually read a novel since my daughter was born. The last book I actually read was while in the hospital when my daughter was born, lol. My daughter has always Loved to read and I'm proud of that. Thank you both for your help.

They should be fine for an 11 year old I have a 7 year old who is obsessed and am reading her the first one right now. You could always read them first if you are concerned.

Oh... I want to add...She is a very good reader and can read books at this level, I just want to know if they have any sexual content like detailed romance novel types.

There really isn't anything of that nature until the fourth book after they get married and even then it still doesn't go into much detail. Hope this helps :)

My daughter wants these SO bad that they are #1 on her Christmas list!
Question though, for anyone reading...
My daughter will be 11 years old the week after Christmas, are these suitable for that age? I normally only let her watch rated G and PG movies, but some PG-13 if it's just for cursing or something...She has watched all the Twilights so far (over 100 times each, lol and is absolutely obsessed), but I don't want her reading something that has detailed sexual content.
