My main complaint about formatting it takes longer to do the windows updates and install programs, then it does to reinstall the operating system !! But it's life :-)

If I just go buy windows for this laptop, do a dod on the drive and then install a operating system I would think it would get rid of this password !!

i have the same one but it's a bit older and only goes up to windows 7, i have used it on more customer computers then i can count and only every had one issue.
It does work great though.

This is windows 8 on the laptop so more less its beta release like you said what windows developer preview was

Curious do you ever sale this product ? By sending someone this on a media disc, I'm asking because I'm on disability and trying to fix a laptop a person gave me !! It also says windows developer preview this is something I never heard of and also can you use this item more then once if you ever get a computer/desktop/laptop or anything with a windows operating system also does it work on Mac products ? If the PC you have says windows developer preview , that means it is a beta version or a test version , not a fully licensed version . These are version Microsoft release before releasing the full version so developers can test it for bug fixes and to develop software for it .

So unfortunately you'll have to put a new OS on it if you want it fully functional .

And yes this can be used more than once
