Here we have a lovely and may I add HEAVY (Some where in the neighborhood of 15 to 20 grams,my scale is broken so please allow me to go by my reputation! That amounts to 1/2 to 2/3 OUNCE OF PURE SILVER!) brooch made solely of pure thick sterling silver and appropriately marked as such.(Please view my photos)

I have as usual placed a penny nearby to show the items size,I would say it is approximately one and a half inches wide and just as high.

I would LOVE to see the face of the lucky winner of this one when they first hold it,Wow it is substantial! The brooches PIN is LIKE NEW, i put the date of fashioning of this item is about 1975,old enough to qualify as 'vintage'...ALL jewelry over 25 years old is legally considered "Vintage" or "Antique"

This item is tarnishing AS ALL STERLING WILL,IN TIME. That is part of what gives Sterling silver it's "Personality"
If you like a Jeweler will polish this for very little,or leave it for "Old Times Sake" :)

This is a gorgeous piece, reminds me of something I have seen on my Grandmothers hat back when women wore hats to church. Bidding away!
