This is an authentic pair of Greek child's shoes from the mid 20th century. They are called Opanke Tsarouhi shoes. They are both machine and hand stitched, made of red leather with white piping and white leather details. The left shoe has 3 out its 4 original sequin/bead details, and the right shoe only has 1 of it's original 4 sequin/bead details. The bottoms of the shoes are hard brown leather with upturned curled toes. On the tips of the toes are red, white and blue pom poms. These Greek shoes have a Balkan countries and Turkish influence. The shoes measure 7.5" long and 3" wide (at their widest part). They are in good vintage condition, and are stunning examples of antique shoe art! Thank you for bidding!
