The listing, Two 8oz Dr Browns glass bottles with sleeve has ended.
Included are two complete 8 oz Dr. Browns bottles with nipple, collar, vacuum, and caps and two Dr. Brown's protective sleeves (one green and one pink) that were washed but never used. The bottles are recommended to reduce colic and gas. My husband, who worked for the UPS store, will pack them, so they will arrive safely to you.
Questions & Comments
First congratulations on your new addition.
These are 8oz bottles which is pretty large for a newborn. However you do not have to fill it all of the way. I no longer have the packaging, but the bottles were not used, just washed and sterilized. The bottles do not typically come with sleeves. I got the sleeves to cushion them.
They are glass so they are not shatter proof, but they are a thick glass.
I got the glass bottles because I thought that they would hold up better to frequent washing and steam sterilization Which you have to do with every bottle especially with a preemie. I will include a new package of Dr. Brown's preemie nipples, or the standard if you prefer. The nipples are interchangeable, so they can be used on most bottles. This is the only part of the bottle I used so I will purchase new nipples to your preference. According to their website, the Dr. Brown's nipples help create the vacuum that is needed to reduce gas and colic. The size of the nipple depends on the size and age of the baby. The older your son gets, the bigger the nipple. I used standard nipples for my son since he was born (7lbs). The size 1 (infant and likely preemie nipples) have a smaller hole which is supposed to be better for newborns, but my son just got frustrated because I gave him expressed breast milk, and the fat clogged the hole. We quickly went back to using standard nipples and just holding the bottle at a shallow angle and pausing periodically for the baby to catch his breath. Don't worry, they will train you. Best of luck with your little one and winning the bottles. God bless.
