Thank you for sending me the quick link to re-list. I appreciate all of your help, Dee :)
Why is the YKK on the zipper so important? I am new to the Coach bags..I have 3 but never really thought about checking them for anything for authenticity.. can anyone explain to me what i should be looking for when i get 1..I do know 1 is real..it is vintage..over 22 yrs ols..was bought as a gift from my mother when Lazarus first got popular.. LOve this bag BTW..Watching and have bidder and fanned you!!!
I don't know my foot from a hole in the ground about Coach........I just know I bought it new w/ tags years ago on eBay & paid way too much for it to be a fake LMAO
The YKK is not important, sometimes people read one authenticity guide and consider themselves experts. In reality- YKK zippers are on some Coach purses and aren't on others.
I found the Leah in green, but a different style than mine.......so, I guess anything is possible lol http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/m106ixEr2QMPCKg0vgHETxg.jpg
Idk...I'm no expert but it is my understanding that coach bags don't have print on both inside and out, it's usually one or the other. Is the zipper marked YKK?...if so adding that picture to the bid will help increase the amount of credits you can get for this.
All I know is the zipper says Coach on both sides & I've seen several on eBay & google pics that have print inside and out. This is the only Coach purse I have & have nothing but internet pics to compare it to lol
Sorry for those offended About the YKK zipper comment I was just trying to help. It was never my intention to offend any one. I have couple authentic bags purchased at the coach store and they have the YKK marking on the zipper which is the zipper brand coach use on their bags (they are know to use the best). There are many other ways to identify the bags like the details on the bag stitching and tags, but pictures can only help so much when it comes to showing the details of the bags. Good luck with the bidding! =)
I will comment on this bag....first about the YKK zipper..NOT ALL Coaches have a YKK zipper. Just because it does not have a YKK zipper does not make it a fake. However, I will state this bag is NOT authentic. Coash DOES NOT use the C's on the inside and outside. It is one or the other. Also, the creed number on the patch is missing the first set of digits before the - making this a fake. I do not work for Coach but I spend enough money in their stores to know a fake from a real one. I have been purchasing their bags since the 80s and I can spot a fake just as a few other coach sellers on here can. Just because this was purchased on ebay DOES NOT make it authentic. Even ebay has its fakes/replicas/counterfeits. And yes some can be fooled just by the price you pay. So, carry on ladies..there are people who will bid on these fakes which is why they continue to circulate. I for one do not care to support the counterfeit market, therefore, no worries. I won't be bidding. Again, carry on. :-)
