Description

The listing, Hand Painted German stoneware by Wekara, 1930's has ended.

This is ONE (1) of 7 mugs that I have (made in Germany) by Wekara in the 1930's !!!!!
The second picture is to show you the beautiful crazing on the inside.
(Crazing: looks like a network of fine cracks on the surface of a material, for example in a glaze layer.)
The third pic. is to show the name of the maker (Wekara) & the markings they made, when made over 80 years ago! The markings are hard to make out but most of the mugs have a clover leaf marking. Hand painted.
Sorry I have to auction them separate but these are highly sought after stoneware collectibles & I need to get a fine bid on each one. Again, this is an auction for ONLY ONE (1) German antique mug of the set of 7.
Thank you for looking & good luck!!!

this no on bottom 30 don't mean it is made in 1930

I know the (no.) number on bottom doesn't mean 1930. This is not how I derived with the date of make. I actually did research. Furthermore, I respectfully dispute your argument that these pieces aren't that old. Here are various other sites I found with the same stoneware. To be fair I'll say that these pieces are round about 1930's or 40's as far as I know. I purchased them in the 90's & the lady I bought them from claimed she'd had them for a very long time.

Furthermore, you could have easily sent me a discreet private message, you didn't have to publicly try & besmirch me. Civility is always a good thing. Good day.

Hi,
Are two of the mugs the same? (Either that, or I need stronger glasses ;)
Please and thank you.

In this particular auction I have 5 pictures for the mug. 1st pic is displaying one side of the mug & its ornate quality of features. 2nd is showing the inside crazing. 3rd is displaying the bottom reference markings. 4th is showing another side of the mug. 5th pic is of the third side of the mug. Even though it is a cylinder shaped mug it has three different sides displaying 3 individual German castles on it. I currently have 7 auctions going on auctioning off these mugs. 6 of the 7 look exactly like this one & 1 of them is slightly more ornate due to it having 4 castles on it & the name the castles written above each castle.
